The Stay Strong Mom project is something that, obviously, is near and dear to my heart. It is my goal to bring this community, along with our box, to any and every mom who may need a little reminder of her strength. But, like every mom, sometimes I need help to make things as successful as I want to be. I need a solid team behind me, and so I reached out to all of you to find someone who can help me spread the word about The Stay Strong Mom.
Answering an ad I put on one of my Facebook groups, Lauren came through inquiring about the position. I wanted to give her a chance to introduce herself to our community so you can learn a little bit about her and her story:
My name is Lauren and I am the new Social Media Director for The Stay Strong Mom. As a mother, a loss mom, and a military spouse, this project is something that is so important to me. I have been following Chaunie as a fellow writer for years, and I was so excited to learn about The Stay Strong Mom project when she launched a few months ago. It is my unbelievable honor to be a part of her team and bring the stories of strength, fortitude, and hope in our daily journeys of motherhood to all of you.
I am a mom of three little girls- Evelyn (7), Savannah (4), and Annabeth (3). I know the struggles of loss- I had three miscarriages between my first two daughters- and the pain of postpartum depression that got increasingly worse with each birth of my girls. As a military spouse, I know how hard it can be to parent on your own and how lonely each move can feel for both you and your children.
My goal with The Stay Strong Mom project is to bring to light all of your stories so that together we can inspire and bring strength to moms everywhere. We all have our unique struggles, but in the end we all need a little help. The Stay Strong Mom box helps friends and family remind moms, no matter what stage of life they are in, that they are strong and that they have someone loving and caring for them even if they can’t be there physically to help. The Stay Strong Mom community is here for moms as a daily reminder and advocate for moms everywhere. And I am so proud to be a part of both movements.
Thank you so much to Chaunie for this opportunity. I am so excited to be a part of this amazing project!
You can connect with me in lots of places!
